Buttercup Cottage in Castleton | Dog friendly

Rooms, Garden and Views

Built around 1632 as two cottages and later combined into one larger home in 1850, it has recently been renovated to preserve its original features, including oak-beamed ceilings, exposed stonework, and log fires.

The cottage sleeps up to four adults and two children across two spacious bedrooms, each enjoying beautiful village and countryside views. The super-king bedroom can also be arranged as twins, an additional futon bed on request and includes Sky TV for relaxed mornings and cosy evenings. There's a cozy living room, with numerous games, DVDs and Sky Glass, and a dining room both complete with log burners, Hi-Fi and extendable dining table. The kitchen diner with SkyTV & surround sound leads out to a patio and garden, dining table, benches, with stunning views of Mam Tor and the ridge all the way to Win Hill.

The cottage benefits from a dedicated parking space to the front, a beautifully cared for parish green and views of Peveril Castle and the Peak Cavern.
